ladies wholesale clothing in manhattan?

February 13th, 2010 | Tags: , , ,

I am looking for a/the clothes wholesalers store on 6th ave and 29th street in Manhattan. Fellow mom&pop store owners I know “casually” mention they get some of their clothes from a wholesale store “…upstairs on 6th ave and 29th st”, but never tell me the ACTUAL store. I understand their reason for not giving me the store name(competition). Does anyone know of the store… or A store at that location?

p.s.: or if anyone knows where I can get nice women’s clothing from wholesalers, it would be appreciated. Keep in mind we are a small mom & pop shop :-)
I tried calling the local distributor’s number for “Pretty Girl”, they acted like I was the F.B.I. or something. They wouldn’t give any info. Maybe I asked in a “wrong” way. I dunno.
I would LOVE to get Pretty Girl’s local distributor and Rainbow’s local distributor’s number.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    clothes wholesalers

I have seen wholesalers listed on ebay, which is a very inexpensive way for a small, private shop such as yours to get a nice inventory. It is a little-known fact that some retailers, such as Target, donate their entire unsold, last season’s stock to places like St. Vincent de Paul, or Goodwill. If you contact those thrift chains, possibly they would let you take the whole lot from them, chaply, once it comes in. The suppliers for such chains as Rainbow clothing are negotiated with international manufactureres; usually those in the Far East.

    clothes wholesalers

I’m sorry I can’t help you find the wholesale clothing store in Manhattan, I do however can help you find the merchandise you need. I have a liquidation companie in Florida where I liquidate wholesale clothing by the pallets and containers. The merchandise is overstock and shelf puld from high end stores and you can find designer clothing for as low as $5.99 per piece. Take a look at my site and contact me for any question. Hopfully it was helpfull.

    hi joe
i was looking at your site and i am interested in getting to know more about the company before i make my first purchase, i currently own a retail store.

I will need shipments to miami and i right now i make purchases from several other wholesale websites who offer free shipping in the continental US for orders over a certain amount (more or less aroung 300 US).

Is there any kind of arrangement similar to this that can be provided?

    Regards,
    Melisa

    Hi Joe,

I am also interested in wholesale clothing, to open a small boutique in my home town. Can I get the name of your website? Thanks.
