I am starting my own business of selling clothes wholesalers and accessories and am having a hard time finding websites for genuine brand name/designer wholesalers (plenty of people claiming to be wholesalers but theyre not) no-one in the retail business is willing to give out this information and the search engines generally produce the rip offs claiming to be wholesalers. I have come across sites willing to sell this information but i am reluctant to use these as im not sure if they are for real or not. so please if anybody can help me i would be truly grateful.
selling brand name and designer clothing, eg:

clothes wholesalers
You dont mention what type of clothing you are wanting to sell. That would be helpful in your search. If you are looking for blanks to add things to such as embroidery or screen printing, I can help you. If you are looking for standard lines, I also may be able to direct you. But I would need to know what you are looking for first.
I will check back if you want to add some notes.

at the top there is a sourcing guide you should be able to find whatever you want.
Most wholesalers will not release pricing or catalogs to anyone without their retail tax number. So you may need to set up your business first with Uncle Sam.
Also, you mentioned surfware. look up this site:
These are awesome “towel shorts” designed for the swimmer and surfer.
Good luck.
clothes wholesalers
Try or. They have hundreds of distributors of name brand wholesale clothing/apparel. Almost too many, so you’ll just have to look hard. I’ve had some success with them. It’s all free. Good luck!
Try using http://www.getmysize.com since they are free to use, you can sell new or used apparel. You can also post items with the exact measurements so shoppers can use their body measurements to compare so they will know how apparel fit before they buy.
