Why Knockoff Jeans are the Biggest Fashion Mistake

January 9th, 2010 | Tags: , , ,
To buy or not to buy – that’s the main question about knockoff jeans and we certainly all know why we do desire to buy them. If you buy knockoff jeans and get away with people thinking they’re real then you’ve achieved a glamorous look for half its actual price. Of course, that’s a big if there and you should also consider the potential disadvantages that come with wearing knockoff jeans, which are listed below.

The Quality Just Isn’t the Same

When people purchase branded or designer jeans, they’re not really just paying for the name and style alone. A good amount of money may also be attributed to the high quality of materials used for making them. With such quality, customers are instantly and completely assured of comfort when wearing them.

You don’t, however, get that when you make do with knockoff jeans. Ask anyone who has ample experience wearing knockoff jeans and they’ll tell you that some poor imitations can only boast of looking good on the outside but when worn, they feel absolutely bad next to your skin. Think stiff and rough materials that make your skin itch and actually prove as an impediment to moving.

But that’s not only what you’ll suffer from when it comes to low-quality knockoff jeans. Fake or imitation clothing are also sure to last only for a short while. Authentic designer jeans are an investment, one that can last you a great number of years especially if they have a classic look to them, but knockoff jeans can only be a temporary fashion statement at best, only to be worn a few times before they start getting threadbare and show other signs of wear and tear.

Inaccurate Size Range

Say with a particular designer brand you’re guaranteed a perfect fit with an XS or an XL or a Size 6. But with knockoff jeans, you can’t expect their manufacturers to adhere to the same size chart and range. If you don’t have an average or common sized frame then it’s possible that the jeans won’t be a perfect fit. And remember, when it comes to looking good, the right fit matters just as much as the right style!

What If You Get Caught?

Finally, a lot of people have very negative opinions about those wearing knockoff Wholesale Jeans clothing and apparel, whether it’s jeans or something else. Even if you get away with wearing them now, what happens if you don’t the next time you wear it? Are you willing to risk possible embarrassment for the sake of wearing fake designer jeans?

I think this is sound advice. Furthermore, when buying jeans that are ‘knockoffs’ you get a cut and a fit which is very poor indeed. Often, if you hold out and are prepared to look / – you can find discounted branded jeans from last season. They will last you longer. It is false economy to buy a cheaply made copy. Case in point / a few years ago I went out to buy black skinny jeans and found that my little budget would not get a nice branded pair. So I got very cheap ones and within two months, the black of the jeans had faded to streaky greyness. Another point you have to remember when buying skinny jeans by the way is if they will fit and suit your figure. Knee high boots worn over the jeans will compliment a larger thighed lady. I went for these ones – Florence Black Leather – Duo . Although it is summer still the autumn months are approaching.

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though! Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Kudos
