How to Find the Perfect Jeans for an Imperfect Body
Does it surprise you that the majority of women can’t find jeans that look good on them? Unfortunately, it seems that most jeans manufacturers believe that we all have supermodel figures. It’s hard to find jeans that look good on you if you have short legs, extra baggage, an excessively curvy bottom, or otherwise “imperfect” features. To avoid camel toe, muffin top, and other jean wearing sins, keep the following tips at the forefront of your mind when you go jean shopping.
Give Your Boyish Figure Some Sex Appeal
Got no back? Try wearing jeans with flaps or back pockets to create the illusion that you have some junk in the trunk. If you are tall and skinny and want to add some curves to your hips, wear cigarette jeans. Avoid baggy jeans that bunch up in all the wrong places. Instead, opt for jeans that fit you well and accentuate your figure.
Lengthen Your Torso
If you have a short torso, you need to wear jeans that give your waist more definition and make your upper-body look longer. To balance out your figure and lengthen the appearance of your torso, wear low rise hip huggers. High-waisted jeans should be avoided because they make your upper-body look even smaller.
Flatter Your Full Figure
If you are a full-figured woman, don’t try to hide your curves. Simply wear jeans that elongate your figure, and avoid jeans that make your upper body look large. Jeans made of stretchy fabrics are ideal for full figured women because they are flattering and optimally comfortable.
Avoid super low-rise jeans because they can make your top half look larger and cause muffin top, and avoid super high-rise jeans because they can add unwanted inches to your stomach. Wear jeans that fall at your waistline or a little bit below your waistline for maximum comfort and style. If you want to make your legs look longer, wear flare leg or boot leg jeans with heels.
Create the Illusion of Height and Long Legs
Wear flared and boot cut styles of jeans and pair them with heels in order to make your legs look longer. Women with petite figures need to look for jeans with shorter inseam lengths in order to balance out their figures. Hip-huggers and low-rise jeans help to make you look taller.
Find the Perfect Jeans for Those Long Legs
If you have long legs, you may be the envy of passerby, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s any easier for you to find jeans that fit right. Thankfully, an increasing number of jean designers are creating jeans that have longer inseams. To prevent your luscious, long legs from looking spidery, wear wide-leg jeans, cigarette pant cut jeans, or flared jeans with cuffs below the ankles.
Jeans that Accentuate Your Behind
If your butt is too big, try wearing boot cut jeans because they usually provide more room for your behind. It’s also advisable to wear jeans made with stretchy material so your butt doesn’t look saggy. To avoid plumber’s crack, wear high-waisted jeans. If your behind is as flat as a washboard, wear jeans with high back pockets because they will draw attention to the rounder part of your behind. Women with flat butts should stick with jeans that offer a snug fit because baggy jeans make flat butts look even flatter.
Conclusion
Jeans are a fundamental wardrobe item. There’s nothing sexier and more stylish than a pair of great fitting jeans. Just like Ginuwine once sang, “You don’t know what those jeans do to me, make me wanna get down on one knee.” Follow the above tips, and you will make any guy who sees you in your jeans get down on one knee!

Maybe its not that the bodies are imperfect, but the jeans. If jeans aren’t designed to fit the people who are likely to wear them, either they don’t or shouldn’t sell, or everyone is going to walk around looking like they used a shoehorn. Still, tips for making the most of what you have is important.

Ha ha ha, awesome picture, and yes, I totally agree with this article, most of women have such a hard time trying to find clothing, specifically jeans, that fit they’re figure. I think the first part of the article is the reason, maybe designers want their clothes to be wore by models. Maybe they don’t care about selling them, about marketing, maybe they just care about who wears them.

Anyway I love the concept of your opt to fit the jeans that we have. I’ll take this one for me to explore more on it.
